As long as those affected by unemployment don't understand
why they can't find a job, the liberals and collectivist are in a win-win position. They can look good to their mindless fellows and to the dis-employed youth and blacks because they appear to be promising them a higher wage if the unemployables can ever find jobs, and they can look good again when they pass out a welfare check.
This is one of the reasons democracy is a disaster for any society. I think we should pass out bumper stickers with the slogan, "Democracy is a mental illness".
Liberty isn't given to us; it is taken by us, and if not, we will not have it.
