Comment: don't ban anything

I would like to offer a perspective.

I think we can all agree that all decent people abhor racism. So why allow videos by people have expressed racist views? What about the murder of children? It is well settled that Obama has authorized drone strikes that have killed over 170 children. Does that mean Obama videos should be banned from the site?

I am opposed to banning any topic or person on this site, with the exception of porn and spam (which I view as informational noise from the point of view of this site).

I have noted in the past that the very few posts with racist overtones get downvoted very quickly, so I have trust in the community to self-regulate. As for some smear organization, such as the SPLC, latching onto some post to claim this site is racist, I say fuck them. You can't let them dictate the boundaries of permissible discourse.
