Comment: Love is understanding that

Love is understanding that the golden rule is the essential truth for interacting with others. It is being responsible for yourself so that you are not a burden to others but at the same time standing ready to lend a helping hand to those who have fallen on hard times.

Love is respecting the essential fact that you are part of a greater whole, yet that you are indispensable - that your life has meaning and that you have a right to live it free. It is about respecting the freedom of others while demanding your own.

Love is using all of your faculties to the greatest extent that you are able. It is about facing reality at all times, and living a life in search of truth. It is attempting to always act in ways that are in harmony with nature, using your resources to improve conditions, not wasting them on folly.

Most of all, love is about cooperation, because you know that it is through cooperation that love survives and prospers.
