Let me spell this out.

Has Christianity been abused by the State as an excuse? YES! So have Islam, Judaism and Confucianism.

Believe it or not, atheism has also been abused by empires - and those empires have killed far, far more people than the religious ones. That does not, however, mean that I have the right to accuse you of hypocrisy for posting your atheism on a liberty forum; unlike you, I am able to separate the individual believer or advocate from those who have abused a belief system.

In short - chill out, bro.
