The Republican party is drifting into two camps. And Rand has been crowned leader of the non Neo-Con side.

This has been reported by most of the non Neo-Con media, even on the left. That is why Rand has been getting so much attention lately.

I don't think Rand would be the best candidate, but he'd be a damn sight better than the last 3 Presidents.

Since Rand is well known and gets good press on the national stage, it would be a lot harder for the Neo-Cons to put 'stooges' into the primary to try to siphon off votes.

Like they did to Dr. Paul with Huntsman, Perry and Cain. Wouldn't surprise me if they even urged Bachmann to run.

Whatever leader we end up having, and there will be one, we must continue to spread our message of Liberty, take more primaries and insert ourselves further into the GOP machine.
