Well what about George Washington? He was not born in the United States and neither were his parents since the USA did not exist at the time of their births.

The legal definition of "natural born" is being born on US soil. That is why Andrew Jackson's place of birth is in dispute. Many think he was born while his mother was on a ship traveling to the USA for the first time making him ineligible to be president so stories were told which are murky and not definitive about his place of birth. To this day, nobody knows where he was born.

If you are born in the USA, you are a natural born citizen. That is the problem with "anchor babies." The question comes up about being born outside the USA like John McCain was in Panama. That is where the questions get tricky.
