Occam's Razor

Seems that the increasing complexity and addition of exotic, unobservable variables (ie dark matter, dark energy, strings, multiple dimensions, etc.) which are required to make the gravitational cosmology models "work" implies that we are on the verge of a total sea change in cosmology.

Too bad old orthodoxies die hard.

When the transformation happens, I believe old cosmologists like Hawking and Sagan will look like Keppler wasting decades of his life trying to explain a universal geometry constructed on the 5 perfect solids (heliocentric universe).

Makes me chuckle when 95% of their cosmological models are explained by esoteric nonsense.
