Heck skip the pediatrician and hospital altogether. Homebirth, homeschool, chiropractors or natural drs. ONLY, ER if you really need it. Not just shootin' from the hip here, I have done it 10 times and wouldn't have it any other way. BTW we need to "get" some chicken pox...anybody...anybody...
People are always commenting on how healthy my children are, they are often shocked. Very cool.

PS Good to be prepared by looking into state laws, we have a philisophical exemption in PA and use it often. And keep it on the down low, no one needs to know your kids health status, esp. nosy relatives!!!!
