Update to my suggestion

Ok,I went one step further and inquired about how much it would cost for my local Fox affiliate station (Lancaster, PA) to run a 30 second and 60 second ad at the height of viewership, the 5:00 news. Here is their reply:

"The rate would be 125 for a :30 and 250 for a :60. Let me know how I can help.

Now that is Do-able! We throw together a money bomb, and this is for real!

Ok... Now let's really get a video contest rolling here. I'm sure Mike can help with a vote up/down page semi-dedicated to the contest. We run the contest over a week, simple majority rules, winner gets a cool (modest) prize, start the money bomb to pay for ad time.

Couple of thoughts:

*We need not only a champion, we need a "CEO" to put this together. A team is what's truly warranted. People designated to make phone calls and email inquiries. The CEO is the coordinator.

*I totally agree with Mike's assessment of the message. Dr. Paul was our guiding light, our messenger.We all awoke from our slumber due to his hard work and diligent effort, but the message cannot be about "him". It must be about "us".

*If this is successful, and the community grows exponentially, now what? Do we form some sort of PAC?

It stands to reason that where there’s sacrifice, there’s someone collecting sacrificial offerings. Where there’s service, there’s someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice, speaks of slaves and masters. And intends to be the master.
