Where has that got us?

I grew up in Texas and every pickup in the town parked on main street had a rifle and a shotgun in a gun rack and the windows were left down (hot here in Texas) and the doors weren't locked.

At school that started Sept, 1st, the same day as dove season, every kid had his shotgun in the trunk waiting for the final bell to ring.

Yep, we had disagreements and fist fights like all kids do, but NOBODY settled it with a gun.

Back then, the coach would put gloves on you so you wouldn't hurt each other, but still get your frustrations out and learn about life.
