Comment: Ideas for text of an ad spoken in a first person point of view.

I believe in principles and values like truth,freedom,liberty,peace and the golden rule..
.I believe principles are more important than political parties.
.Both democrats and republicans refuse to bring our troops home which directly causes more deaths of troops and civilians.I don't believe it should be the responsibility of our troops to police other sovereign nations.I would not send my son or daughter to police another sovereign nation,so I don't believe it is right to send other people's sons and daughters.Politicians tell us we need to have troops in the middle east to protect us from "terrorists", but then why does our government refuse to secure our own borders?

.Both democrats and republicans refuse to end the war on drugs,which causes more crime,incarcerations and enrichment of criminals while millions of people continue to use illegal drugs anyway.
.Both democrats and republicans refuse to cut spending and balance the budget as if the national debt does not matter.If the national debt does not matter,then why do we have to pay an income tax?
.I believe in sound money that protects the purchasing power of people's savings,not endless printing of money and deficit spending.(Show chart of the drop in the value of the dollar over the past 100 years,as well as a chart of the national debt.)
.I am not a democrat or a republican,I am a human being with a conscience.
.I believe in giving more power to each individual person to affect change in the cities and states where they live,rather than giving more power to a group of politicians in a far away place.
.I don't believe in using force to make other people do what I want them to do,or using force to make them spend their money how I want them to spend it.
.I believe force should only be used in self defense from violence,theft or fraud.
