for reading. It was more of a rant than a post.

We (as in the "liberty movement") occasionally suffer from battered wife syndrome when it comes to some of these characters in the media and politicians.

We desperately WANT them to have an awakening and come around and stop hitting us when we least expect it. We WANT them to be on our side and an advocate for truth and justice. They could be SUCH a powerful force if they would just come around and go all in. But they are what they are by nature. Otherwise they wouldn't be on the air very long.

I'm all for welcoming someone with open arms if they have a true epiphany, but I've been burned too many times to just automatically start trusting someone who comes out with a half assed non apology. Especially someone with a history like Beck who has been known to smack us around in some of the most sinister ways.

As far as I'm concerned, these guys are just trying to scrape up what little credibility they have before TSHTF.
