Anyway... AFAIC, and as I tried to point it out below in an earlier comment... Mr. Beck "is much welcome" to embrace libertarian ideas.

He is a free man in a free society, isn't he? Aren't we all?

Well... "kinda".

HOWEVER !

I sincerely fear that Mr. Beck ALSO has quite a FREAKING bit of HOMEWORK to do and catch up with, on principles. Like... History is important matter, for instance. So is sound money. So is self-reliance. So are points of the 9th and 10th amendments. Proposed homework essay, Glenn:

Discuss "rights" vs. "entitlements". Please give thesis, anti-thesis for each, and conclude of your own.

... Etc.

I think Mr. Beck...

... SHOULD START NOW.

To be REALLY ready TO THINK AS A REALLY FREE INDIVIDUAL in a few years, hopefully.

So far, in that video, I've mostly heard a lot ranting on how much "close minded some libertarians are" - and not a lot of compliments on Ron Paul's 40 YEARS STRAIGHT IN A ROW-LONG STAND FOR THE CONSTITUTION - or humble auto-criticism on Glenn's past overlookings.

Strange way to appeal to the next movement you're supposedly newly friendly with and attracted to.

Or DID I MISS SOMETHING?

I am sorry my words cannot be more kind, Mr. Beck. But that's just the returned change I have for your own.
