Have you ever heard of the Gladiators being called the "Barley Men" (historical records)? They were vegans who lived on barley and the historical record of their being called the "Barley Men" was confirmed by archeological findings. They were, arguably, the strongest men in the world.

The Roman soldiers abstained from meat before battles. That's also confirmed by history.

Not to mention the fact that Daniel in the Bible ate nothing but vegetables and got stronger as a result.

Muscle from animal protein is another myth, according to the research and history.
