This tends to confirm my view that he should go one step back and lay out the premises he holds before starting his chain. He and a minarchist, or a localist like me, might be solid in our reasoning but still not agree because we are reasoning from different premises. The only way to resolve, if resolution can be obtained, is to go back and examine the validity of the premises.
