One more scary aspect

Something that isn't commented on much is the number of operators going down as compared to the number of people that can be controlled. A few hundred thousand of these little drones could keep a city like L.A. under control. Maybe 20 operators or so would be able to control the swarm. The operators would (for example) only be contacted to make a life/death/warn/cripple choice, once every few minutes.

So the question becomes: how many little drones, and how few operators would it take to fully control the rest of humanity in the future? And will these operators always be friendly to good people?
