Comment: When my son was small

(See in situ)

When my son was small

he struggled with asthma it is a very scary condition. I kept a log as to when he had his attacks and the conditions. It was very helpful to look back and notice a pattern.

We took a gamble and had my son allergy tested and given allergy shots.
Every year he missed school days and had several emergency rooms encounters. After being on allergy shots for about six months he told me he thought it was working. He went though the whole school year without missing school and no emergency rooms visits.

We had moved from Missouri to Michigan and he still had the same asthma issues.

My son is in his thirties now and seems ok but with asthma you never know if it will flare up again.

Good luck to you and your family.
