Comment: OK, my gut response is a "F-U" type answer, but...

I think the better way to go is to out-Christian them. What would Jesus do? He would go take them a plate of cookies, ask them to sit and visit with you a while and let them get to know you better so they understand that your presence in the neighborhood makes THEM safer. Have a DVD of a couple of choice example, Susan Hupp, for instance, to leave with them.
Or, move to my neighborhood, where you would be considered a responsible citizen!
