The OP brought up yet ANOTHER peculiarity regarding the Sandy Hook incident that is noteworthy since the public is being led to believe that the massacre was carried out by a lone gunman, Adam Lanza, and that he was driving the car.
Could the police canines have made a mistake? Possibly. But when we know there were other suspects apprehended who had ran into the woods, if the police canines went from the car to the woods after the other suspects, rather than from the car to Lanza, that is worthy of mention.
