THESE BARS ARE NOT SOLID SILVER THEY ARE EACH INDIVIDUALLY PLATED IN PURE .999 FINE SILVER, EACH COMES IN A HARD PLASTIC PROTECTIVE CASE.
I THINK THE CORE METAL IS COPPER BUT IT IS HARD TO TELL WITHOUT CUTTING INTO ONE.
