Sad that, the whole time our parents and we were fed this facade

of patriotism, justice, freedom (and that the US was uniquely better than any other country on Earth because of it BS), behinds the scenes, these evil schemers were actually hiding probably the most sinister and potentially most oppressive empire in human history. It was blind allegiance without accountability by the general public, that got us here today...plain and simple.

The other day, I just happened to stumble across a documentary about the huge tsunami which took place in Asia a few years back. As I watched, I was amazed at how many people just stood around on the beach, trying to grasp the magnitude of the situation, as the huge wave was rolling in on them. It was surprising to me how long it took for most of them to decide to run for their lives (heck, some didn't even run at all), while others seemed to sense right away and got to high ground as fast as they could.
I liken this antidote to the situation that we are in today in our country, where there are many still wandering around in the "ignorance is bliss" category, while a few of us scream at them from higher ground to wake up and act, before it's too late.

I pray that the message is starting to sink in!

"Liberty tastes sweetest to those who fight for it, and most bitter to those who work to deny it!"
