I think that is where a lot of us are

There is a strong and growing "self reliance" movement in Idaho, and it is sort of replacing the "political activism" movement. We TRIED, and there are still good people in the political system doing good things. However, some of us moved on, finding politics ineffective and feeling we do not have enough time to make the gradual shift to "liberty consciousness" - that the hammer is coming down and we need to put "Plan B" into effect. For us, that means getting as near to 100% self reliant as possible, and in a way that we can help others get there a LOT faster than we did.
I am heartened by Rand's efforts last night, and if he seems to be getting anywhere we may get back into politics, but at this point we are trying to be MORE effective, not "giving up."
