Absolutely. Do what you feel. There is nothing wrong with that.

After a while, any number of things might happen. There might be a huge accident on that highway, and you'll be called into action. Or someone might pull over, and offer you a lift. Or a UFO might appear from above. Or you might get tired of sitting, and decide to get up, stretch, and walk around. And on your walk, you might meet some others of like mind and form a new club.

The future is wide open.
