I would think it's going to be awfully difficult for the neocon establishment types (of which Rush most certainly is both) to be overly critical toward Rand going forward. Also, Rand can build on this by taking additional "pro constitution" stances. He just might've captured the public's imagination. Maybe this can snowball into the conscience of the mainstream public that "liberty and the constitution are a good thing and something we should all care about".
