The only time I heard him talk about marijuana, he said he would not recommend it. I devoted a career to ophthalmology, too. It galls me at the level of a healthcare provider who actually cared about the health of the patients. Of all the people in medicine, it is ophthalmologists who ought to be DEMANDING access to an herb that could prevent blindness - a MAJOR cause of blindness at that. There is no cure, BUT THERE IS A PREVENTION. Note they leave that little factoid out. As Rand does. And so today, somewhere in this country, someone will begin to sob as the lights, dim for months now, go out. They will never see their loved one's face again, they will never watch a sunset, they will never look in the mirror and fuss with their hair... and it could have been prevented.
