Rand may not have achieved a
Rand may not have achieved a clear political victory with this, especially with the nomination going through after the White House reponse. However, Rand had achieved a major ideological blow to the 2 party paradigm as illustrated by TYT here. Democrats are slowly seeing through the Obama facade and something will be needed to fill the political vaccuum.
Now, more than ever, I have hope for a new political party or a completely revamped Conservative party based on the principles of non-intervention, Constitutional Government and sound currency. I was happy when Romney lost because I saw the chess pieces move toward our favor and now Rand is making the push he needs to.
Our next moves need to be to continue to address drones in other countries and expose the DHS armored vehicle sales as that should scare the Sh!t out of any American. A big push by Rand on the FED would be a good idea too exposing how we are reinflating the bubble just like 2006.
In any case, Rand needs to push forward on his own and draw the lines in the sand for what other Senators will follow him and who will fall by the wayside.
