Rand was right to forcefully make the point on drones in the U.S
...but the article shows how little and limited in scope Rand's actions are. Why isn't Rand attacking drone strikes overseas as well? Why is Rand supporting sanctions on Iran? Why is Rand making blank check statements in support of Israel? At the end of the day, Rand doesn't do a single thing to offend the neocons. He is a neo-lib, as I have called him before.
Honestly, I don't like Rand Paul, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. The filibuster was a good thing to raise public awareness of the tyrannical path we are on. It was just a very small step compared to what is needed.
