How did this get 53 (and counting?) downvotes?

I read comments like 'playing chess' (more like checkers), 'compromise' (where?), 'he's just like his father' - no waaay!
But what I find really, really sad is that people have hopped on board the Rand Ride without truly grasping that he is just a tad right of the neocons.
Do all those who downvoted this post approve of sanctions, Brennan, Rand's endorsement of and proclamation that Rmoney was "the man who could restore the American dream and "lead us forward, away from the looming debt crisis,"?
Rand isn't a leader in the mold of a Liberty Movement candidate, but I do see him fit as a TEA Party candidate. And in my eyes that's a step down.
Are people really just latching onto Rand because of his last name? Our founder's threw off the notion of the hereditary succession yet it seems many here want to reinstitute it. Granted, Rand's filibuster started a national conversation, but his words won't stop drone strikes on American soil.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
