OP tells you how in the text. this isnt one of those 'i have a right to choose' options. when you visit a website you are at the mercy of the web developer to ensure that its utilized web technologies are being used ethically and in good faith. 3rd party scripts and cookies offer no such promises. but id imagine it is a large part of getting revenue to run/maintain the site.
