The issues regarding the morality of drones

and their anonymous pilots has been addressed long ago and is nothing but a side show. As soon as aircraft were utilized as bombers this became a hot topic. The incendiary firebombing of cities, most notably Dresden which was built of mostly stick framed housing, that occurred in WW II as well as the utilization of nuclear weapons against the Japanese had the public's blessing as it was occurring. On the flip side we should look at what public opinion succeeded in doing with regards to the indiscriminate bombing of Hanoi in the 1970's. Kudo's to Rand Paul for taking this issue and at least getting the public to contemplate how it might feel to be a target of such anonymous and indiscriminate assassination program.
