Last night, Samson had his hair cut off, eyes gouged out and drug off straight to the "pillar scene". I was like "no wait, enough time had elapsed to where his hair started to grow back" and the Philistines had to fetch Samson out of where he was "grinding in prison" to make sport of him - then came "the pillar scene" (Judges 16) but you'd of not gotten that idea from their film sequence.

My husband also noted that during the Abraham/Isaac "sacrifice" scene that a lamb was "just there" rather than a ram caught up in the thicket by his horns.

May be "itty bitty" but makes a difference to me, like why even eviscerate the truth ever so slightly? What's the point in that? Perhaps to make God seem "inconsistent"?
