Ownership of land

The people who took the native Americans' land, and then claimed ownership, are not the owners.

The federal government is not the owner. They just claim ownership and control over this land, and they back it up with guns.

To determine ownership, you apply the homesteading principle.

Additionally, the natives did not own all of the land, now known as the U.S. They only owned the portions which they homesteaded.
