I wonder if he and others would consider the following...

The US economy collapses. No jobs, no money, no food and people are mad as hell at Washington. It's reached epic proportions of affected Americans.

Groups form to take back the country. Armed with AR-15s and 30-round mags they march on Washington. Local law enforcement is no match for the number of citizens. Half the group consist of former and active military veterans.

Drones?

Anyone remember Kent State? Peaceful protesters shot by the National Guard. Ridiculous scenario, yet it happened.

Hey, next Tea Party protest rally, fly drones around them to provoke a reaction. Ridiculous? No, typical government over-reaction.

Whether Rand is being ridiculous or not, isn't it obvious that we are slipping into a police-state? Where do we draw the line?
