of Beasts and Burdens

Opting out becomes increasingly more difficult every day by design.

In my corner of the world cash remains indispensable for many practical, non suspect reasons. Cash payments physically deposited into a branch bank of a business counterpart or monthly service provider, for example, had been an alternative to electronic or check transfer. Now the central bank refuses to accept deposits, even for small transactions, unless the trackable government issued ID is presented. No doubt this rule will be required everywhere shortly.

It's global; it's a conspiracy; and not merely theoretical.
The strawman in this game will actually be the name given to the name given along with the flesh and blood and photo ID who must, perhaps on a rotating basis, step up to the counter.
