Comment: Wow!

(See in situ)

That is a neat video! The Bible speaks much of the mind which is sometimes called the heart. Thing is, my brother in law had surgery. They removed his whole kidney, he still has untreatable cancer. I had cancer. They removed my ovaries, I don't have cancer. I didn't believe one way or the other. I rested in the knowledge that God knew all about it and that He would see me thru, whatever course my life would take.

People can walk on coals and glass and such without pain. The mind definitely has power over our bodies!

Does the mind exercise faith:

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things unseen. Hebrews 11:1

Jesus talked about it:
Matt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

My brother in law has faith that God has deemed him worthy to serve him thru death. A course none of us would most likely choose.

It is their faith that says the best thing that happened to them last year was his cancer. They have never been closer as a family. People can live a lifetime with out the experience of that kind of closeness. Perhaps this is the only way it would come.
