Individual natural rights are applied only to private property.

Public property is regulated. You may pay your share as in a collective, but you do not own such a property to claim freedom of action by default. You have a natural right to defend yourself but you do not have a natural right for any product or services produced by others.

In short, Ron Paul should have studied Ayn Rand better. Natural rights do not come from god or nature. They come from reason.
