Not a fake

in my opinion.

I don't agree with Carson about everything, but at least you
could have a conversation with him about an area of disagreement
and be reasonably confident he was approaching the matter
with decent intentions and an open mind.

Which is not something you could say about Obama, Billary
or Bush or most politicians for that matter.

Although in Dubya's case I guess you could argue that
a vacuum is pretty much inherently open...

Carson's answer about the assault weapon was wrong IMO,
but he is miles ahead of Obama and the statist neocon phony
conservatives in my book because unlike them, he doesn't (as far as I can tell)
have an agenda of wanting to have the federal executive controlling/surveilling/
micromanaging everyone's affairs from cradle to grave.
