Strike...

This guy misses the first pitch. He agrees that a child has an absolute right to food, clothing and a home. That is false in my world of liberty. No child (because I have none) has a right to my food, my clothing or my home. When you start from that premise, the entire argument disappears. I will concede that a state, county or local government has the authority to establish systems or laws to care for children in need and I have the right to accept, fight or vote with my feet on the issue. However, the federal government does not have the authority to give anyone, young or old, the absolute right to food, clothing and shelter, then force the burden on the back of an entire nation... and BTW, I am a compassionate person, by choice, and I like it that way.
