They are two separate arguments,

with more than nuanced differences to be considered - with 80% of your fellow Americans wanting abortion to remain legal in all (28%) or at least some (52%) circumstances. But looking at just the cruelty issue, i.e., the subject of this post and what I'm therefore assuming your question alludes to, can something be called a sentient being before a brain and nervous system are formed, necessary for sense impressions and the ability to even perceive pain? No one would question that horses treated in the manner depicted sense cold, hunger, pain, and fear. I think it's our responsibility to be responsible caretakers of both wildlife and domesticated animals. I appreciate the post for bringing the situation to our attention.
