It could be worked out with a calculator, but it isn't that simple. How do you pay a 2 gram price with oz coins? A 1/10 oz coin is 3.11g. There are similar problems paying ounce prices with gram weights.

Payment cannot be exact with various weight systems, and adding the all of the junk silver makes payment even slower, more confusing, and unfair.
