As long as they have a false sense of security

These are the same people who actually feel safer having TSA agents feel up little kids.

The masses are blinded by trinkets - new tv's, new phones, new crap - all these "necessities" get cheaper every day. Meanwhile the price of food goes up, the price of fuel goes up, the price of healthcare goes up.
But the masses don't care -they are distracted and that is the point. Who has time to worry if the money is real - as long as it buys more junk and helps them keep up with the jones - that is what matters.

And as long as taking away the fake money for electronic money makes their life easier - they will go for it. There will be no outcry. It will be welcomed with open arms.
