Comment: Here is nationalist propaganda at work

Proud to be an American? Absolutely not. That is blind, nationalist propaganda.

I can take no credit or responsibility for the fact that I was born within certain geographical boundaries. Not only that, those geographical boundaries mean nothing if our country descends into an oppressive dictatorship. I am happy to be a liberty-loving human being, and I am equally happy to consider myself one with liberty-loving human beings everywhere, regardless of the arbitrary geographical boundaries into which they were born.
