Ron told us on June 7th that he couldn't win the nomination

That night Rand endorsed Romney, the Republican nominee, for the general election. You don't guard your teammate on the basketball court because you thought he was a bad pick for team captain. You work with him despite your differences to overcome the opposition.

The popular narrative on the DP is that Ron was going to win no matter what until Rand "stabbed his dad in the back" but that simply isn't true. Ron Paul had barely over half the delegates needed to win the nomination and he told us that in an email and a private youtube video that was posted on the DP.

Rand Paul did the right thing, and in the end it didn't mean a damn thing. Get over it and spend your time slandering people who actually deserve it instead of slandering people within the movement you believe in.

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson
