I haven't watched the extended one yet, but Billy makes a good point about playing on the level of fear. That's what the MSM does, and Alex falls right into doing it as well, overblowing stuff and even twisting stuff to the point of trying get you scared of what's going on. Alex does give out some good info and just gets frustrated when dealing with covering all the horrible stuff every day, so I don't blame him. Alex's rationale is that the truth is scary. But that tends to breed more negativity, as shown by the people on this very forum fueled by anger and fear.
