My entire perspective on Isreal changed when I met an Israeli. I had walked into the discussion when it was almost over, and his closing remarks went like this, 'Look at me. I look like an Arab. That's because we're the same people and we come from that land. These so-called Jews all over Isreal have no right there. They're European or something else. Israel isn't 'their' land, it's mine. I'm a true Isreali because my ancestors came from that land..." He then went off about blue-eyed Jews and that his people were discriminated against by them. Israel was way off my radar at that young age when the encounter happened, but his words have stayed with me.
If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
