Meaning behind the words.

If this were truly a Christian nation it would have said Jesus Christ and not creator. The use of the word creator was used to show king George that he wasn't the supreme ruler and that something out there was above him whether it was god, nature, or whatever your mind can conjure up. It was used as a diss to the tyrant George and his power.
