I'm aware of hardly any philosophers, especially modern ones -- and I try to avoid them, which you can ask me about if you want -- but Bastiat is my favorite philosopher. He understands words are depictors of action, movement and relationship. This understanding is the characteristic of a philosopher, someone who's observant and reflective.
