Most if not all safety

Most if not all safety deposit boxes require two keys one the bank has and one the customer has. There is no master key the bank has that can open the box without the customers key (I used to install them). So DHS would have to break into them if they want to open them without the customer being there. That would be a felony without a proper warrant and DHS employees would be liable under US code. As far as I know DHS has no policing authority anyway. The patriot act is unconstitutional!

Having said that it is foolish to keep guns gold and silver in a SDB anyway as when you would need it most you will likely not have access to it.
