Christ came to set the captives free. The Christian movement was/is a vigilante movement. Early in the course of human events, it claimed the right to proceed and superceed the laws of men and their governments. It claimed that God had created man in his image and both the god and his image were worthy. Christianity's doctrine is a coup that draws everyone who is isn't interested in serving a master other than himself, whether he recognizes that freedom as being God desire nor not. Freedom allows God; bondage rails against him.
