I believe I see where you're coming from; the majority of the world's religions have the same basic morality, if that's what you're referring to.
As far as that goes, I agree completely; according to the Apostle Paul, the Law of God is written on the hearts of all people. That does not, however, mean that "all religions are basically the same." There are tremendous differences in core doctrine.
Likewise, one guy - Cicero, maybe? I don't recall - said, "Nature herself has imprinted on the minds of all the idea of God." There are many overarching truths that most religions agree on, but that does *not* mean that they are all right.
If I am mistaken, please define "deeper truths."
